Thanks to the faculty's proximity to research, you will have the opportunity to work on future-oriented topics, e.g. the development of organ-on-chips, implants, or cell and tissue culture.
Internationality is a top priority: You can organise the internship semester as an international study semester. The Bachelor's thesis can also be completed in industry or in research institutions in Germany or abroad.
With a Bachelor of Science degree after seven successful semesters, you will have optimal career opportunities in a wide range of areas, such as the pharmaceutical industry, the medical technology sector or biotechnology companies. Master's programmes at colleges and universities are also open to you.

The BioMed-Lab is an interdisciplinary, project-oriented training laboratory for students of the Biomedical Sciences degree programme and is open to students from other faculties or partner universities.

Master's programme

After graduating, you will have 210 ECTS credits and thus fulfil the admission requirements for many advanced Master's degree programmes in Germany and worldwide.
